Brenda Gregory and I got down to work with a group of teens for a full week of making at the Morean Arts Center during the Summer 2016 session. This version of our Maker’s Space class exposed students to many mediums including, needle felting, surface design, metal jewelry, painting, assemblage, and other techniques. With help from assistant, Lilith Graham, we were able to keep several stations open at all times. Students were able to determine how much time they would like to spend on each project. Most of these teens would have stayed another week. 🙂
